George Pappas is available for in-home music theory and songwriting lessons. George has played guitar for over 10 years and has privately tutored and taught music lessons since 2009. His guitar-centric approach to theory engages students to know why the songs they love sound so good! He makes music theory feel like music appreciation and brings the songs you love to life. George graduated with a BA in Music from Texas State University in 2012. He's given classes in theory locally and at conferences across the U.S. He empowers students to know their potential and reach new levels of understanding. George constantly devours every book and resource he can find on songwriting. He has studied the curriculum from the Berkley School of Music and talks for hours on tricks of the trade that can help any aspiring writer. George knows in a variety of genres, but specializes in indie, classic rock and Christian music. Lessons scheduled to best fit student's schedule when possible.
