I am a professional teacher/performer with over 20 year’s experience. I specialize in jazz guitar but have vast teaching and performing experience in all styles of popular music such as rock, blues, soul, r&b etc.... I am a composer/band leader and I also have many side man credits with some world renowned musicians on my resume. My CD "hypnotic" made the semi final round for 09-10 Grammys for best jazz instrumental CD. I also have 2CD's on the steeplechase label. I believe that these experiences make me a teacher that can communicate with my students through my hands on knowledge and understanding of all aspects of music. Oh.... almost forgot.... I love teaching just as much as I love playing, because it gives me a chance to effect peoples peoples lives in a positive way.
