Hello! Welcome to my page. A little bit about me. I started singing at an early age. I began voice lessons at age 6 in her hometown in the Philippines. Then I moved to Sacramento in 2010, and continued singing throughout high school and college. I recently graduated from California State University Sacramento in 2018 with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies. During my undergraduate years, I sang in the award-winning Sac State Vocal Jazz ensembles. In addition, I received a 2015 DownBeat magazine student award for outstanding jazz vocalist. I am very fortunate to have performed at world renowned events, including the 2016 and 2017 Monterey Jazz Festival. The Sac State Vocal Jazz ensemble has appeared on local radio and TV platforms such as Good Day Sacramento and Capital Public Radio. I have also performed alongside various artists, including the internationally acclaimed vocal ensemble, the New York Voices. Currently, I work as the music director for St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Auburn, California. I lead worship for church and school retreats, Catholic conferences, and other church services. On another hand, I volunteered at various Catholic young adult organizations such as Beloved Young Adult Ministry and the Newman Catholic Club at Sac State where I led the music ministry. I have performed at local Catholic conferences such as Fired Up 2017 and On Fire NorCal Jam 2017. Currently, I am a part time music teacher at St. John Vianney Catholic School in Rancho Cordova, CA, and Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary School in Sacramento, CA. Out of all the things I do, my favorite thing is working with individuals in private music lessons. Everyone is unique and has different goals and I am very happy to help my students reach this goal and be with them in their musical journey. My ultimate mission in teaching private music lessons is to elevate a culture of authentic beauty through music and the arts.
