Guitar with Gary W.

Hi my name is Gary W., and I have over 50 years experience playing guitar. I have been fortunate to have played and taught many styles of music professionally over the years. I received by B.A. in music education from the University of Wisconsin with an emphasis on Classical Guitar I taught guitar and bass for many of those years. In the 1980s I worked for Hal Leonard Publishing writing and editing many guitar publications. Later on I lived in Nashville and worked as a musician playing in bands, as well as doing some session work. For the past 15 or so years I have been composing and recording instrumental production tracks in my home studio, of which I have over 1700 in my catalog. I am also the author of "The Fundamentals" series of guitar and bass instruction books.
