Learn guitar from an instructor with 50+ years experience as a guitarist
I have been playing and teaching guitar for over 50 years, with experience in most genres of music. My approach is to have students really learn the guitar fingerboard in notes and chords so they can really expand their knowledge of the instrument. I can teach this through reading standard notation and tablature. Also so they can have an understanding of some music theory for the instrument so they can have an overall understand of music as it relates to the instrument.
About Gary W.

Hi my name is Gary Wolk, and I have over 50 years experience playing guitar. I have been fortunate to have played and taught many styles of music professionally over the years. I received by B.A. in music education from the University of Wisconsin with an emphasis on Classical Guitar I taught guitar and bass for many of those years. In the 1980s I worked for Hal Leonard Publishing writing and editing many guitar publications. Later on I lived in Nashville and worked as a musician playing in bands, as well as doing some session work. For the past 15 or so years I have been composing and recording instrumental production tracks in my home studio, of which I have over 1700 in my catalog. I am also the author of "The Fundamentals" series of guitar and bass instruction books.
