Scuba Diving with Garrett C.

Hello students! My name is Garrett and I was born and raised in the sunny, beautiful state of California in the United States. I recently graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a degree in marine biology. While at school I raced on the triathlon team, played on an intramural soccer team, performed scientific research in a lab, and consistently went SCUBA diving with fellow classmates. My research is still ongoing, but soon I will be the proud author of two published papers. Recently I starting learning mandarin and photography. As a learner of another language, I understand how frustrating it can be sometimes, but I am here to tell you that it does not have to be. Together, we can come up with fun and effective ways to overcome whatever challenges you are facing. We can talk about the cultural norms in America to prepare you for a future visit, improve your conversational fluency to help you feel more comfortable asking questions and socializing, or we can work on your writing skills. I am a young and eager teacher that is thrilled to start helping you improve. I also have 8+ years of experience and half a dozen certifications with SCUBA diving. If you are certified and it has been awhile since you have been diving, we can work together to refresh your memory on common practices and protocols.
