Suzanne is a patient and kind teacher, with an exquisite voice herself. My daughter has learned much about controlling her voice, and is being exposed to new kinds of music. Suzanne deserves the highest rating for a voice instructor.

Mrs. Galer’s level of instruction is purely professional and she gently coaxes the best out of her student. Always with praise to instill confidence in her student capabilities.

I have been with Ms. Galer for about 8 years now, and this is the best vocal training I have ever received, especially since I am studying jazz at her studio! Over the years we have sang classical, broadway, commercial, even piano, but now we decided to stay with jazz and it has all been super helpful and educational for me. I have done numerous competitions with Ms. Galer and have won first place for one of them, and it has been nothing but amazing with her! I definitely recommend taking lessons with her, she’s amazing :)

My daughter Josie and my experience as her Mom have been fantastic. Suzanne Galer is a wonderful communicator! Before Covid, and especially through all the challenges the new Covid world has brought, it seemed we never missed a beat! With Dr. Galer my daughter was prepared and successful with her recitals, performances with NATS, preparing now for Royal Conservatory, with her audition and acceptance from the preparation into Dreyfoos SOA and preparation with all her high school juries to date. Dr. Galer is patient, kind, passionate about her art, and more, actually if I could find the time, she is someone that I would believe could even teach me to sing, though I don't believe it is my gift, she would somehow find a way to help me succeed in finding my voice. Keep on teaching and inspiring Dr. Galer.

When we first started with Mrs. Galer I was instantly impressed with the quality of instruction she provided. She took the time to get to know my daughter, and is focusing on what my daughter likes. My daughter is a big broadway fan and is trying to continuously improve to hit the notes in her favorite songs. I’ve seen a big improvement.

I had a great experience with Dr. Galer! She helped me prepare for conservatory auditions, and because of our work, I received scholarships to FSU, FGCU, Indiana University, and Oberlin. I have also participated in programs such as Tanglewood and Palm Beach Opera Studio, and competitions such as NATS and PBMTA. All of this helped me to grow as a singer, in turn leading me to attend Oberlin as a voice major. Thank you, Dr. G!

Dr. Galer has been a "find". She has taken a voice with decent range and expanded it through coaching, which focused on breadth control and vocal exercises. She taught me how to go from falsetto to regular voice for those show tunes that I thought were beyond reach; I am grateful that I have had the opportunity to study under her guidance.

I've been a student of Suzanne for 5 yrs. I have learned both musical theatre and classical music. While studying with Suzanne I have competed in the National Association of Teachers for Singing(NATS), I have also sang at several holiday recitals. My voice and technique have improved greatly. She is very professional and has vast knowledge of theory and performance.

I have been studying opera for decades and have had many teachers (including the Director of Vocal Performance at USC), but none have compared to Dr. Suzanne Galer. The improvement in my voice and performance was evident to my peers in a well known choir as well to myself.

I love my singing lessons! Suzanne is an excellent teacher, and very kind. After just three or four lessons I saw a very large difference in the quality of my singing. We do a lot of fun songs that I get to select, and I am improving my piano skills with her as well :)

I absolutely love Dr. Galer. She's helping me choose a repertoire for college auditions and I have already leaned so much with her over the first 5 lessons, including music theory, European language pronunciation (IPA), breathing and relaxation techniques, and projection. Looking forward to continuing to learn with her.

I am so blessed to have met with Dr. Galer!! Having a lifelong dream to sing has been something I've always wanted to pursue but something that has always felt so intangible to pursue. She is incredibly patient and kind and has the keen ability to help reach her students in the unique way each one can understand and grasp. Through working with her, I find myself growing and stretching as a singer in ways I didn't think were possible for me. She definitely pushes you and challenges you to grow while also doing it in a loving way that supports your journey. Highly recommend.
