Hello, My Future Student! My name is Gaga and I hope to be your next, or even first teacher! I have deep respect for this profession and genuinely care for each and every student. I take give special care to provide exactly what you need to achieve your goals as a musician. I feel I succeed when I can get the best out of each player, helping them reach the highest level possible. For Beginner lessons, I utilize the Suzuki Method, covering topics such as scales, arpeggios, and left hand exercises. For Intermediate to Advanced players, we dive into further techniques and work on selected repertoire. While I do curate content for lessons, I am happy and willing to work on what you want to play & learn! I will help you procure all necessary materials like sheet music, instruments, and accessories. For my education, I received a Bachelor of Music from San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and went on to attain my Master’s degree at Yale School of Music. While studying there, I also served as a Teaching Artist, instructing a wide range of age groups in local schools. As a performer, I have given a variety of performances internationally. I performed at the Zephyr Music Festival in Italy, at Li Shui Theater in China for a live TV broadcast, and as Concertmaster of the Pacific Music Festival Orchestra in Japan. I also had the unique opportunity to play at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California for an Apple Keynote Presentation. I look forward to hearing you play!
