I am a young conductor with an established conducting technique, one that relies on my training with orchestras and choirs. My passion for music and for my students is palpable, and my personal rapport with ensembles is noteworthy – kindness and humor are pillars to me, both on and off the podium. I received my MM in Choral Conducting at Temple University, where I was recipient of the Elaine Brown Tribute Award. Before that, I graduated from the Universidad Nacional de La Plata (Argentina) with a degree in Orchestral conducting and a second degree in Choral Conducting. I have also participated in courses throughout Argentina and abroad with numerous teachers, including Luis Gorelik, Ariel Alonso, Facundo Agudín, Annunziata Tomaro, Kirk Trevor, Glenn Block, Steen Lindholm. During my time at Temple University I have served as graduate assistant conductor for University Singers, Singing Owls, University Chorale, and Temple University Opera Theater. My mentors have defined me as "talented, intelligent, dedicated, reliable, and personable [...] [his] strongest suits are his ear, his intelligence, and his warmth. He is an excellent student, reliably submitting first-rate and timely work [..]". I have been doing music since I started to play the guitar at age 11. I have a vast performing experience as a guitarist and, specially, as a singer, traveling and performing in Europe, South America and the US. In my free time I enjoy playing PlayStation, playing sports, reading, and watching Netflix.

I was lucky enough to have Federico as a conducting teaching assistant and to work with him as members of the Temple University Concert Choir. Fede brought so much light and personality to the choir along with all of his musical knowledge. He truly helped me immensely with advanced choral conducting and would break down ways for me to understand all the technique behind it. My favorite thing is that even though he knows so much about music, he is humble in everything he does and is always willing to learn from his students!
Federico is a phenomenal teacher. He has the ability to teach the technical skills of conducting and how to interpret the emotions of a piece of music flawlessly, never sacrificing one over the other. Federico’s raw energy, effortless talent, and passion made me WANT to learn how to conduct.
As someone who wants to go into choral conducting at some point, I am incredibly happy to have shared many experiences with Fede in multiple classes during my time at Temple University, as he was a TA in both my intermediate and advanced conducting courses. What makes him an outstanding teacher is his wonderful personality and his passion for conducting. Every time I had a lab for my conducting class, it was so nice to be able to work with someone I could learn many techniques from, including learning to open up more with my conducting skills, such as expression. In addition to working well with me in my classes, he has served as an overall excellent role model for the students at Temple University, as his presence alone is enough to put smiles on people's faces every day. Although, I have not had Fede for classical guitar, ear training, or music theory lessons, I am sure he is just as wonderful in those subjects. With that being said, you will not be disappointed with your experience. :)
