I like to begin with the basics of singing for all of my students. The resource I use to teach this is Berklee's Elements of Vocal Technique Book along with various YouTube videos I've built into my lesson plans. I strongly believe that learning about vocal anatomy and understanding how your body works to create sound is incredibly important no matter what level or age you are! After these things are internalized and covered, we would start incorporating vocal exercises that could be used as daily vocal warm ups. This will help develop your warm up routine (and your voice!). I always like students to have a piece of repertoire as well! I want us to work on pieces that you're excited about and am always open to ideas! I believe learning songs you love is key to development.

I'm a vocalist, songwriter, and Berklee College of Music graduate offering private voice lessons to people of all ages! I have experience in pop/rock, jazz, musical theatre, and classical. If you're looking to improve your voice, learn more about vocal technique, and/or master a few songs, I would love to help. 

A little bit about me: I'm a Los Angeles based, genre-bending indie pop vocalist, recording artist, and songwriter. My original music has been written about by notable blogs such as Earmilk, The 405, Audiofemme, and Blackbook, and broadcasted on London's notable Roundhouse Radio. I am signed with San Francisco- based label and publishing house, Text Me Records.
