Since I was in sixth grade, the french horn has dictated my life. It has taken me to three continents, earned me a full scholarship to a Top Ten Dream School (USC), and taught me many valuable skills that extend beyond music making. I absolutely love teaching and passing along the information that has made me successful. *** Lesson Details *** My teaching philosophy is that music making should always be a positive experience. I work with students on their personal goals and create practice plans that work with their individual lifestyles. My biggest focuses as an instructor are: Efficient, effective practice techniques Developing solid fundamental technique Setting goals and creating plans to accomplish them For students who are interested in preparing for competitions, I am also an expert at preparing for audition situations.
