Basically, I'm very good at what I do. I've noticed I don't have the prettiest profile on here, but if you want someone who's a fountain of information, who can give you hours of background and detail on a Chopin piece or the like, and knows what it takes to get to the point where you can pretty much play anything, I'm your guy. If you want someone to teach your daughter Mary Had A Little Lamb, I can do that too, and that's often where it all starts! But I do take music seriously, and the reason you should pick me over someone else is if you want someone who really knows their stuff, and how to teach it clearly and effectively.
I'm new to this site, but I've been teaching for 12 years and have had well over 150 different students in that time: Kids, retirees, beginner to advanced.
I also have Graduate-level credits in math, and my skill at explaining difficult concepts in a way people will understand makes me an excellent math tutor, and I can help with anything up to Calculus I. I started off helping some of my music students on the side, but that developed into getting recommended to others exclusively as a math tutor.
