    About Erica I.

    Ms. Intilangelo is an Italian-American soprano from Fairfield, Connecticut. Her most recent role include covering Nuri in D'Albert's Tiefland with the Sarasota Opera. While living in Cincinnati, she collaborated with companies such as the Cincinnati Chamber Opera and the Kentucky Bach Choir. Ms. Intilangelo was a member of the 2017 Crested Butte Opera Studio in Crested Butte, Colorado. She was featured in the roles of Alexis in Offenbach's L'île de Tulipatan and Nella in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi. In the summer of 2015, she attended the Castleton Festival in Virginia founded by the late Maestro Lorin Maazel. She covered Juliette in their production of Gounod's Roméo et Juliette. Other past summer programs include the CoOPERAtive program in Princeton, New Jersey and the Chautauqua Voice Program in Chautauqua, New York. In September 2015, she made her debut with the Atlanta Opera in their opening season gala event, "Opera with an Edge" hosted by Tomer Zvulun and Bob Edge. She graduated summa cum laude in May 2014 with a Bachelor of Music degree from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey. Her performed roles include Adina in Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore, Aminta in Mozart's Il re pastore, Lauretta in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi, and covered Pamina in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte. She was also a member of the Westminster Symphonic Choir where she sung under the batons of Daniel Barenboim, Gustavo Dudamel and Yannick Nézet-Seguin on the stages of Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center, and the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. Ms. Intilangelo is also a lover of musical theatre. She has performed many roles in this repertoire including Cinderella in Into the Woods, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Ms. Peretti in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof, Fraulein Schneider in Cabaret, Lily Craven in The Secret Garden, and Cosette in Les Misérables
