Eric really listens to where you are at with your playing and builds off of that in order to help you reach your goals.
Eric did a great job encouraging my son to participate. He was very patient and kept my son engaged in the whole session. We are looking forward to our next lessons.
Great first lesson. Attentive, and I felt like we got right to playing. The hour went by real quick, but I feel like I gained something already, and expect to learn more in future lessons.
Did a great job of meeting me halfway on my experience level.
Patient and communicates well. Is able to translate his experience into lessons
My son seems interested with Eric class. He said he will continue to take lessen with Eric next week. Thanks to Eric. Please keep Alex to continue. Alex is a fun and smart boy. He likes fun and knowledgeable teacher too.
Recently started taking lessons again, and Eric has been great so far. He is everything a guitar teacher should be...he tailors his teaching to help you reach what personal goals you want to achieve. He is also very supportive, and his feedback is always of the encouraging type. His knowledge of guitar, music, and theory is outstanding which helps him teach it to you at whatever level you feel comfortable at. Highly recommended.+ Read More
Great lesson! Learned a lot and plan on continuing to take lessons with Eric. I love the ability of being able to take lessons in my home.
I have been taking lessons with Eric for almost three years and I would highly recommend him to anyone thinking about taking any kind of music lessons. I initially started with blues guitar lessons because I wanted to be able to play my favorite songs or maybe impress girls. Over the years Eric got me interested in so much more.
I learned music theory, jazz standards, improvisation, fingerstyle techniques, how to play and sing at the same time, and how to write and record my own songs. He inspired me to take on piano as a second instrument, initially through him but eventually through classically trained instructor.
What started as basic guitar lessons for a potential hobby turned into my tiny apartment becoming cluttered with musical instruments and audio recording equipment. For this I only have Eric to thank.
I am about eight lessons in and look forward to every one of them. Eric is patient with me as I am a little older and not a quick learner plus my work and family life is hectic so my practice times vary. Only reason I am not giving five stars is this is my first time taking guitar lessons but I know I will be sticking with Eric probably for another couple years of lessons as this is the first hobby I have had in a long time that I truly enjoy!+ Read More

Eric was the right fit for me. He started me on the basics in a very relaxed way. Plus - his favorite Beatle is George!
Ive been working with Eric for over a year now and I can't recommend him enough. Whether you are looking to play guitar recreationally or professionally Eric is the person you want to help hone your skills. As someone who has tried to teach myself and failed I can say that after working with Eric not only do I understand music itself astronomically better but I also am able to produce music on a creative level that would have taken years to achieve without Eric. Lastly, to anyone who is on edge of whether they need a teacher or not, the answer is YES, absolutely and you won't find anyone better than Eric.+ Read More

He is an amazing guy. He gets to know you and makes sure your comfortable and not awkward. He makes sure your doing well and even if you dont get it on the first try, you will always get it at the end! I suggest him to all ages.+ Read More

I have taken lessons at several different places but never saw the increase in skill and enjoy-ability that I've gotten in the past year of lessons with Eric. Highly recommend to beginners or those looking to take their skills to the next level.+ Read More
Eric is an awesome and very versatile instructor, teaching guitar, bass and drums to my three sons. They have been taking lessons from him for the last two years and have come a long long way. Eric has got them from making a racket to playing the Beatles and Rush in my basement. I've been very impressed at not only how far they've come but also at the patience and experience Eric has in developing and bringing out the potential in these boys. I'm very happy at the results!+ Read More

Easy going , encouraging, a lot of positive feedback. Looks to find your interest in music and adapt the lessons to that. I had fun in the lessons. Definitely recommend!
Very good teacher! I would definitely recommend him to anyone!
Very friendly, easy to understand and follow his direction
Eric has done a wonderful job with my teenage son! By offering instruction that met him where he was at and building upon it, he has learned so much. Furthermore, Eric has inspired my son to play to guitar by choosing things to work on that excite him. With Eric, my son is not only developing his guitar skills and abilities, but Eric passion has increased my son's love of playing guitar.+ Read More

I am finding Eric to be a very patient and encouraging instructor. I come out of the lessons eager to practice and try the new things he gives me. Thanks Eric for making this fun.
Pretty Cool teacher, very nice and down to earth.
Wonderful Guitar Teacher
Eric is a wonderful guitar teacher. He has been my son's guitar teacher for 2-years. I admire the honesty and patience that he has with my son, in addition to keeping lessons fun. I admire how he stresses the basics, yet encourages my son to practice familiar songs to keep it fun for him. My favorite part is when I hear Eric and my son do a "jam" session. Not sure if that is the right word, but it sounds so cool when they play together. I highly recommend Eric as a guitar teacher.
I have found Eric to be a patient teacher and an excellent listener. I have played guitar in the past and am looking to refresh and expand my abilities. He is helping me to understand the basics of strumming, picking and chord progressions. I would highly recommend him.
Eric is a overall great instructor and taught me the basics in a two hour class.
Eric is amazing! He taught me to play the basic cords; proper handling including how to hold a pick, how to stand and sit with the guitar, how to place your fingers on the strings, and how to pick your strings. I learned all of these things in a two hour class. Overall, I think he is a great instructor for beginners, private, and group lessons. :D
Great teacher who has many talents
I am an adult who started taking a new instrument and just after a few weeks with him, I'm already able to play much more than I ever dreamed I would. He is down to earth and easy to get along with - but pushes you to always do better. I would recommend him to anyone looking to advance their skills or start from beginning like I have.
Awesome Music Teacher!!
I have been taking Guitar and Ukulele lessons from Eric for over a year and a half and couldn't be happier! I am an adult student with a very busy and at times hectic life. I started taking guitar lessons with Eric as a way to relax and learn music which I love. I received a set of lessons as a birthday gift, I have truly enjoyed the lessons and Eric's teaching style ever since.
Eric has a calm demeanor and is very knowledgeable in his craft. He is patient beyond his years and is very focused and in tuned with his students. I find myself getting better with every practice and lesson due to Eric's teaching ability. He knows how to motivate and bring out the hidden talents in his students, which is extremely impressive.
Eric teaches in a comfortable and non-threatening environment. He is calm, confident and patient with his students. He understands that each student is an individual and makes the needed adjustments that benefit that student. It's obvious that Eric loves what he does and it shows in his teaching and attitude. He is upbeat and positive which makes learning from him very easy.
I have spent most of my adult life as a trainer/instructor. Eric is a great example of a teacher who knows what he is doing and cares about the progress of the student. Eric is the ideal teacher if you are interested in learning and appreciate music.
Easy to Learn From.
My daughter enjoys going to her guitar lessons with Eric.
He is patient and "easygoing' according to her, and he's always very pleasant to me #the mom#also. We've had a couple of time conflicts to reschedule and that has been no problem so far. My daughter was able to play "Happy Birthday" for me after just 3 lessons, which was a nice surprise.
Eric is a great teacher. He has an amazing grasp of music theory which really helps when learning how to play a new instrument, especially as an adult. He's extremely patient and fun to hang out with for 1/2 hour every week. He will challenge you and keep you thinking as well as playing!
Awesome instructor who knows his stuff
It was clear from my very first meeting with Eric that he had a real passion for music and a mastery of the art of guitar. His lessons are fun, he's been quite dependable, personable, and knowledgeable, and I can't wait to learn more! He has a laid back attitude which really helps his teaching. More often than once he's gone over into his own time to make sure I get a lot out of each lesson.
