I am a college student majoring in jazz composition. I have been playing the tenor saxophone for three years and the clarinet for seven years. I have played in college jazz ensembles and paid gigs. My primary instrument is the tenor saxophone, and for that instrument I can teach advanced techniques, including growling, altissimo, vibrato, falls, bends, glissandos, and blues scales. I am also capable of teaching beginning through advanced music theory. I can teach scale identification, part-writing, notation, transposition, sight-reading, etc.
