My name is Emma and I teach beginning to intermediate acting. I also teach those who are interested in it as a hobby. I love to share my knowledge and be part of someone's improvement. I am very enthusiastic about my craft and want to help others cultivate their passion. Art takes skill and patience, often regardless of talent. I am a firm believer that we can all do much more than we ever imagined if we just stop telling ourselves what we can't do.
About me: I am an actress, singer, dancer, and director. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts Summa Cum Laude from The Hartt School of Music, Dance, and Theatre. I have been training in the performing arts since 2000. I have been singing for 15 years, dancing for 12 years, and acting for 7 years. I have studied at The Hartt School; Circle in the Square Theater School; Einhorn School for the Performing Arts; Ballet Arts City Center; Boston Ballet; Bossov Ballet Theater and Boston Conservatory. I have had extensive experience with children and teaching. I have received counselor and leadership training at a sleep over summer camp where I was also a counselor for a year. I have also lifeguarded and taught swimming for three years at a private club. I have had various opportunities in and out of college to teach ballet and theatre to beginners. During my final semester in college I was able to direct and teach intermediate to advanced actors as well.
