About Elizabeth Z.
4.0
(1)
Opera singer and accomplished classical pianist Elizabeth has been sharing the joy of music with voice and piano students for over 10 years. She boasts 20+ years of private education, including several at the prestigious Peabody Preparatory of Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in Music Performance from American University in Washington D.C. Her pedagogy is defined by the belief that music enriches lives in countless ways outside of the concert hall - it imparts discipline, encourages creativity, and teaches children to be collaborative with their peers. Her students receive well-rounded instruction, including sight-reading, ear-training, musical interpretation, and healthy physical technique, all bundled into games and challenges that make it fun to learn.
Elizabeth is also an active performer; highlights of her career include the Miami Summer Music Festival, AIMS in Graz Opera Studio in Austria, and singing for members of Congress and the USAF on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.
