I would love to work with you on songwriting, creative thinking, public speaking, conflict resolution, branding, music artist relations, voice, piano, guitar, and general creativity. I'm not here to make you the next savant, I'm here to create a safe space for you to ask questions, learn new skills and grow as a person and a creator. Think of my lessons as a regular "check in" where we will talk about what has inspired you lately, how we can turn that inspiration into something musical and how we can use our music for the betterment of ourselves and others. You will get out of our lessons as much as you put in. There is no shame in making the conscious decision to not practice in between our time together and I ask that you also not shame yourself if this ever happens. I am bringing this up because a key to success, is to embrace the moment and do the best we can in it. Putting ourselves down for missed opportunities doesn't help us succeed in the future. Let's grab the new opportunities in the moment, not reach for the ones that no longer exist. I am teaching you lessons because I want you to succeed and I am not on a time frame. The lessons are for you, so we will cater them to your needs. My hope for our student/teacher relationship is that I can open your mind to help you think more creatively in your every day life. I look forward to working with you!+ Read More
Elizabeth has an uncanny gift for depth of vision: she teaches me to approach the subject as if you’re a mile above it, communicating the idea with context & purpose: it’s not “here’s how to count this bar of music” or “play that note”, it’s “how do you _feel_ the pulse of this song? Does it swing, or is it straight? how does this melody make you feel?”
Above all, Elizabeth teaches, first & foremost, by showing me her humanity: she approaches everything with vulnerability & courage. That’s _huge_if you’re in the raw & unguarded place of trying learn something new.
I feel so fortunate to have met Elizabeth when and how I did. It was immediately apparent to me that she lives and breaths her passions and crafts. Her energy, attention and experience supports and promotes the best performer/musician/artist you can be. Work with her! Spend time with her! Learn from her!!!+ Read More
I feel so lucky to have crossed paths with this incredible individual. Within the first few minutes of getting to know Elizabeth, I realized her genuineness and deep love for music and collaboration. She has not only helped guide me through the self-doubt of dreaming big and following my passion, but has also helped me navigate through the stickiness of establishing myself as an artist through social media, facing my frustration with love, and being consistently and simultaneously persistent and patient. Elizabeth carries a fire within her that shines on everyone she meets, and being able to learn from her has been such an honor. The combination of her kindness, straightforwardness, and growth-oriented mindset makes her such an ideal coach! This woman has so much to offer and I can't wait to hear all of the stories about lives she has touched.+ Read More
