Beginner - Expert Violin! All ages and levels are welcome. Elizabeth will improve your passagework, intonation, vibrato, sliding, presence, and solidity. She can also encourage musical intuition and imagination for creative students and teach them how to be independent thinkers to achieve awesome musicianship. In her first two years of violin training, she had the opportunity to study the Suzuki method while becoming accustomed to a more traditional style and is therefore versatile and flexible with the student's abilities. Elizabeth has performed as a classical soloist, in chamber groups, and with a full orchestra. Additionally, she has experience in modern popular music and helps her students understand their bodies and the importance of both mental preparation and knowledge on comfortability during their practice time and their performance time.
About Elizabeth B.

Greetings newcomer! My name is Elizabeth and I have a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance and have attended universities such as Curtis Institute of Music and Kunst Universitat in Graz as well as taken music lessons in Vienna, Austria (one of the largest musical communities in the world!) where I am in the process of completing my Master's degree in Chamber Music at MDW. This year in January 2022, I have performed as a Concertmaster with the CMP-Classical Vienna Orchestra for the official Viennese New Year's Competition. I play and teach both Violin and Piano and have more than 6 years of teaching experience in locations such as Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia (online) and currently USA. I strongly believe in mind and body wellness as well as living a healthy lifestyle. I started learning Yoga from the age of 14 parallel to my intense musical studies and continued practicing throughout college years. I am in the process of completing a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification program and continue practicing and tutoring! Most importantly, have fun in your journey and fire up your passion with dedication! - - - Elizabeth began Violin and Piano lessons in Los Angeles. She was accepted at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia when she was twelve years old and took masterclasses with world-renowned soloist Ruggiero Ricci in Palm Springs. She continued her studies with the highly acclaimed teacher, Boris Kuschnir in Vienna (Austria) and after in East Asia. She became very aware of the importance of Mind-Body connection and took holistic approaches. Elizabeth started learning Yoga from the age of 14 and continued practicing throughout her college years. She is now completing her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification. Elizabeth performed multiple tours in Germany for several consecutive years. She premiered with the Paganini Concerto No. 4 in Germany (live recording released by JPK Musik) and Bruch Concerto in China under the baton of Volker Hartung with the Cologne New Philharmonic Orchestra. She recorded the majority of the violin score for the documentary, “Paul Mellon: In His Own Words”, which premiered at the National Gallery of Art in Washington. In 2018 (Germany), she played a newly-written concerto by English composer, Alexander Webb-Mitchell. She also performed as a soloist with the Pacific Symphony under Carl St. Clair; in an open auditorium holding about 25,000 people. Other notable events include her featuring as a solo artist with the Israel Chamber Orchestra, Feng Yuan String Chamber Orchestra, and Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra; performing the Antonio Vivaldi “Four Seasons” under Wim Steinmann and she even performed twice at the Kremlin Museum in Moscow. She also volunteers as an artist for the FSP: Fifty Shades of Purple Against Bullying, a non-profit organization that stands for resilience and community support aside from her horticultural practices.
