Contacting the Voice through the Wisdom of the Body - A Natural Approach

Tuning into the sensations, natural rhythms, and movements of the body is a great way to rejuvenate your energy, align with your inner artistry, and uncover a wide range of vocal-sound potential.

This is a class that steers away from any notion of "good" and "bad" voices.
Free of judgment, where creativity thrives!

Together we find out what works for you and your unique voice.

Drawing from over 15 years of research and teaching, I have compiled the most effective methods to cultivate presence, breath capacity, vocal tone, resonance, and range; incorporating the use of gesture, scale, rhythm, character, imagery, and improvisation to develop a personalized practice that is both playful and beneficial to your health.

Uncovering our most natural and authentic voices is a journey filled with discovery. As we are never exactly the same from one day to the next, there are so many aspects of ourselves to uncover. Through the voice, you can contact the multiple aspects of yourself and piece them together to create a rich tapestry of expression - your unique voice in the world.

About Elise T.

I grew up in a musical family in the mountains of Colorado, writing songs and performing in musical theater from a young age.

In my early 20's I knew that the voice was directly linked to the health of my body and mind, so I became a certified Yoga teacher and later spent 10 years in India studying an ancient oral tradition of voice, directly linked to the Yoga of Sound.

After years of rigorous practice, inquiring into the connection between body and voice, performing and teaching between India, Europe and the US, I sought further guidance from somatic practices, such as one developed by Patricia Bardi called Voice and Movement Integration. After completing her foundation program in 2018, I formed a vocal ensemble called 3 in Resonance, incorporating movement and visual art into performance. This project has since been supported by the Ministry of Culture in Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany.

To this day I continue to teach and learn. Like listening, learning is never finished!

I look forward to meeting you and your voice
