Tuba with Elisabeth S.

Hi! I am a graduate of Temple University's Boyer College of Music, where I earned a degree in Music Theory. Violin and tuba are my primary instruments. I originally began my studies at Boyer in the Music Education department, and through my time there I have a lot of experience teaching music, especially to kids. I have taught high school marching bands a number f years, most recently as hornline tech for Ridley High School's marching band in the 2017 season. I marched contra (tuba) in the Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps from 2011-2013. During my time at Temple I participated in the Symphony Orchestra, Concert Band, Diamond Marching Band, Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble, and multiple chamber groups. Musical groups with which I am currently involved include Port Arthur, Iris Freeheart, and Polkadelphia, and I have recorded as a studio musician for The Dull Blue Lights (formerly The Snails), No Thank You, Thin Lips, Chet Williams, and others. I have also been studying German since a very young age and studied abroad in Germany in college. I earned a minor in German and am a member of the national German honor society, Delta Phi Alpha.
