Violin Teacher's Certificate - Sibelius Academy, Finland Suzuki Teacher Training - Marylhurst University, OR Classical and Suzuki options - starting Suzuki students as early as 3 yrs old. Teaching Suzuki Books 1-11. Beginners, intermediate and advanced levels I am using classical method books including Kayser, Wohlfart, Kreutzer, Mazas, Dont and Paganini Caprices with students looking for more rigorous studies and more advanced skills. Keeping music and technique in balance - Learn how to enjoy performing - Find your own highest potential - Fall in love with music *** Lesson Details *** I am friendly and like to inspire my students to find their own best potential. Suitable challenges are fun and needed to keep the personal progress going on. "No suffering in my studio!" means that the process of learning needs to be enjoyable but at the same time I am asking the students to give their best effort. Setting frequent goals in form of group classes and recitals keeps us in full sail and teach us to enjoy the act of playing both alone and in front of friendly audience. I teach both classical and Suzuki methods. I like to keep my students musically well fed and encourage exploring music reading and music theory next to practical skills. I stir my students toward high standard personal level in their studies, an ingredient from Finnish cultural climate. *** Specialties *** Suzuki method and classical method, fiddling, beginning jazz, improvising

I was hoping to work with Elisa to have my client work on her violin skills, however, after confirming she could work with my client, I let her know my teammate would reach out with any questions. She responded immediately and said "This does not work that way but good luck elsewhere". I work with people all day and this sounds like there was miscommunication and not caring about her clients. Thankfully I didn't send my client to work with her.

Private Music Academy

Hi, there! My name is Elisa and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons for a long time and love helping my students to learn both musical and instrumental skills. I went to Sibelius Academy to earn my music teacher certificate. I am patient, encouraging and supportive teacher and I I look forward to helping you reach your goals! I enjoy teaching all levels from beginners to advanced students. I have been teaching for years in my own private studio. Next to that I have been teaching the violin at Marylhurst University and Lewis & Clark College in the local area.
