Music Theory with Elias M.

Hello! My name is Elias, I'm a professional pianist, cellist, and orchestra and opera conductor, and I couldn't be more excited to be taking piano, cello, and conducting students of all ages and levels. No matter what you're hoping to get out of your studies, I couldn't be happier to help you along on your musical journey. A little about me: I'm currently the music director of the Apollo Ensemble of Boston and a conducting fellow at Opera Saratoga. I graduated from Harvard College summa cum laude with a B.A. in music in 2016 after transferring there from the Tufts University/New England Conservatory Dual Program. I completed my master's degree in orchestral conducting at the University of Michigan in 2020. As a cellist, I have attended various prestigious music festivals including the Aspen Music Festival and School and the Bowdoin International Music Festival, and I have performed in concerts and masterclasses across the country. As a pianist, I have served as a rehearsal pianist and vocal coach for numerous operatic productions, and I frequently accompany both singers and instrumentalists in recitals, masterclasses, and lessons.
