I am a singer, songwriter and guitarist. I love folk music, bluegrass, country, blues and all forms of Americana! One of the best things about folk music is it's meant to be shared with others. I've been mastering these forms of music for the past ten years.

Developing great technique and understanding the principles behind music theory are huge foundations for learning your instrument. I’ll focus on both of these ideas in our lessons. Feel free to bring specific songs or questions. We’ll work together to learn and understand the material. At the end of the lesson, you can record me going over what we’ve learned and take it home to work with on your own!

The kind of music I teach doesn't require much equipment. Just bring your instrument and some kind of recording device.
