Bassoon with Edwin L.

I am a professional bassonist. I graduated from Vicente Emilio Sojo Music Conservatory (Barquisimeto - Venezuela) with a Bachelors of Music, specifically Bassoon. The Bassoon is one of the most beautiful instruments but also one of the difficultest to play. Every bassoon player has a unique timbre; I teach students to release built up tension and apply foundational techniques in order to unlock their own individual sound. I can help any student to play with freedom, confidence, and expression. I teach bassoon students of all different ages and experience levels, or even begginers. I studied classical bassoon for 10 years. I've play in different orchestras, chamber groups and also as a soloist player in numerous occasions. So I can help students to be prepared for any audition or concert they have scheduled. My personal passion is classic music but I firmly believe that great technique is essential to any and every style. I look forward to meeting you and helping you to become a better musician!
