Hi there my name is Downey and I am a working musician based in Sonoma County. My primary instrument is electric guitar and i've been playing now for over 12 years. I specialize in mostly Classic/Hard rock styled music and I am mostly self taught. I want to teach students how to really find their voice through the guitar and work their way up to becoming the musician they've always dreamt of being! I believe anyone has the potential to be great as long as they are committed, driven and having fun doing it! The band I am currently playing with is called Vintage Suns and you can check out our website at www.vintagesuns.com I'm excited to start meeting new up and coming guitar players, and start teaching some key points I've come across in my own musical endeavors.
