I have a degree in music from Shandong Normal University, Jinan, China and have taught music a total of 40 years, twenty-five at the university and 15 in my private home studio in Jinan. I am now retired, teaching violin in my home for the past 5 years.  I have enjoyed helping students learn to play the violin as well as possible, some of them the best violin players in China.

I've been teaching violin for 40 years and my students have gone on to win China National Championships. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to understand violin basics and as time goes on you'll be able to play smoothly.  I taught violin at university level for 15 years in China. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

I am originally from Jinan, China and have a degree in English from Shandong Normal University in Jinan.  I have been playing the violin since I was 15.  I have taught for 40 years, most of the time at Shandong University in Jinan.  I have also taught home lessons for the past 20 years, both in China and the United States. Prior to teaching at the university, I was an Accompanist with the Beijing Opera.  I am now retired, teaching violin in my home for the past 6 years.  I live in the Cooley Station area of Gilbert, Arizona.

Teaches correct hand, bow, and violin positions.  Also how much pressure to put on bow. Just what I needed! Play mainly from the middle of the bow for the best tone for now.
