Comedian Don B. combines well written, topical material and delivers it with a fast paced improvisational flair that keeps audiences of all ages howling with laughter and coming back for more. Audiences say, "B. has the wit and insight of George Carlin with the energy, delivery of Robin Williams making Don funny on so many different levels." B. is also a favorite at the top comedy clubs across the country, cruise ships around the world and is a regular act on the Vegas strip. Brad Garrett says, "Don is one of the funniest cats out there!" In 2012, B. was named "Best Bet" by the Las Vegas Review/Journal and Don won the grand prize in the Improv/Levity/TalentHouse's search for the next great American comedian. Don B. has been seen on almost every major comedy show and was hand picked for The Ice House's 50th Anniversary All Star TV Special. He's been seen on MTV, Star Search, Evening At The Improv and has been featured on ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC. Don can be heard regularly on The Bob and Tom Show and XM/Sirius Satellite Radio. B.'s comedy career really gained national attention in 2007 when he won the American Idol Underground's Online "Best Comedian" Award and was named their, Artist to watch and Entertainment Business Journal named him one of the, Top 100 comedians to see three years in a row. Don B. is graduate of The Second City Conservatory and is a Certified Hypnotist. He is also the only national headline comedian that also performs a separate and equally funny comedy hypnosis show. DON B. BIOGRAPHY B. first started his comedy career during the comedy boom of the 80's as the Talent Booker and Manager at the Comedy & Magic Club in Hermosa Beach, CA. It was there he forged friendships and worked with and learned from comedy superstars: Dennis Miller, Dana Carvey, Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Carey, Judd Apatow, Garry Shandling, Jay Leno, Louie Anderson, George Wallace, David Spade, George Lopez, Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, Harry Anderson, Alonzo Bodden and many more. As a comedian, Don has also worked with Jamie Foxx, Ron White, Martin Lawrence, Bill Belamy, Rondell Sheridan, Brad Garrett, Shelly Berman, George Carlin and Tommy Davidson to name a few. It's Don's vast experience and knowledge of the inner workings of the business side of comedy as well as his performance abilities that separate him from other comedy instructors. Don continues to tour, produce and direct. In 2014 he won the Talent call Comedy Contest and in 2013, he won the Levity Entertainment's "Best Comedian" as well as Talent House's "Best Talent and was listed by the Las Vegas Review Journal as one of their "Best Bets". Prior to that, B. received the International Performing Artists, "Bob Hope Humanitarian Award" for his work producing and performing for the troops around the world and has had both his own comedy & hypnosis shows running in Las Vegas. Don is also the writer, director and star of the upcoming comedy film, Freeloader and he is the creator, host and producer of of the syndicated comedy series,The Freedom of Speech Comedy Show, and the director and performer on The Ice House's 50th Anniversary Comedy Special. In 2007, B. won the American Idol Underground Comedy Award and has been consistently voted One of the top 100 comedians to see by Entertainment Business Journal. Don B. is the author of two books, numerous articles and is a contributing author on, Killed: True Stories of the Road by America's Top Comics which the N.Y. Times called, Hilarious. He is an alumni of The Second City Conservatory program in Los Angeles and is developing, "The DeEvolution of Man" a sit-com and one man show based on his successful stand up tour.
