Well here I am to give you that first push on your journey to becoming a real guitar player! I was also that kid who struggled to learn guitar because so often teachers or even articles online would give a starting point way ahead of where I was already. I've been there and I will help you on your journey to understand and build competence on the guitar so that you can start to learn your favorite songs and write your own music!

Hello! My name is Devin. Like yourself I had an interest in music as a kid and when I was 12 got my first guitar! But as a kid I struggled to learn from books, classes, teachers, and even friends. It took me a long time to piece together the language and physical skills to become competent enough to play almost any song I want and understand at a very basic level that I can explain it to anyone else. I want to save you that time and teach you the basics the right way but also teach you the theory or the "WHY?" behind everything you do!
