Violin with Derek Y.

Currently a college senior at Boston University pursuing a degree in the medical sciences. I was introduced to music and instruments at a young age. Began playing the violin at age 5 and fell in love with the it. Being a musician, as I have come to know, is a great tool for the mind and soul. I have been teaching violin for a number of years (since Spring 2010) and all of my experiences have been positive and rewarding, especially for my students. Additional info: I always had my own private teacher growing up; I auditioned and was selected into the BYSO program for 5 years; I have a total of 300 hours of teaching experience at a music school.
