Drums with Derek S.

My love for music, specifically the drums, began at an early age. From age eight until his mid-teens, I was self-taught on the drum kit. After my playing got a little more promising in my high school years, I auditioned and was accepted into the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. It was at Berklee where I further refined my performance and production skills as a musician. I graduated in December of 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music/Business Management and along with other Berklee classmates I spent some of 2013 and much of 2014 on tour as the original drummer for Betty Who. As I continue to follow my passion for music—performing, creating and producing, I have hopes to incorporate a servant heart into my career and obviously throughout my daily life.
