I first picked up guitar at the age of 9, and since then I've never put it down. After playing for 6 years, I was eventually hired by the guys who taught me the basics to teach those exact same beginner lessons to others. In total, I've played for 12 years and taught for 4. Some things that I am: -Considerate. It is my personal philosophy that the student's desires are top priority. To that note, I always incorporate songs or concepts that the student wishes to learn into the lesson so they feel the teaching is immediately applicable. -Lucid. Teaching guitar for 4 years has taught me 50 different ways to teach one concept. If one method isn't getting into the head, I have 49 others to use. Some things that i am NOT: -A professional. I have absolutely no degree or professional accreditation in music whatsoever. That's because as far as music tutoring goes, real world experience matters more than degrees. -Expensive. Teaching guitar is a passion of mine, not a source of livelihood. I have no pressing need to pay bills teaching guitar. Therefore, my prices are cheap and reasonable.
