Denia Bradshaw, a graduate of Millikan High School in Long Beach, was a Hall of Fame and John Phillip Sousa Band Award recipient. In 2008, she graduated with an Associates of Arts degree from Long Beach Community College, in 2010 with a Bachelor of Music from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and in 2013 with a Master of Music from CSUN. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership at California State University, Los Angeles. ​ She has performed for Jimmy Carter and Harrison Ford and also played alongside artists such as Monica Mancini, Arturo Sandoval, Sarah Jackson, and Sir James Galway. She has also done a variety of studio work, including venues like Capitol Records. She frequently performs with the San Fernando Valley Symphony Orchestra, the Song of Angels Flute Orchestra, as well as throughout Los Angeles and Ventura county. ​ Currently a member of the Music Teachers Association of California she serves as the Winds Chair for the San Fernando East Valley Branch and actively participates in the Certificate of Merit program with her private students. ​ Aside from performing and teaching she holds a high interest and involvement with providing music for special needs teens and adults and works as an instructor at Kindling Studios, which is part of the non-profit called Reid's Gift, Inc.
