I have so many different things I teach. If you are looking for a voice teacher, I definitely can be of help. I have been singing all of my life. I sing in many different genres like pop, gospel, R&B, and classical. I can even help if you want to be an opera singer, as I am studying to be one myself at the Aaron Copland of Music. First things we would start to do is learn how to breathe. After the student understands good breath, then we will apply it to actual singing.
I also teach Italian, and have taught the language for 3 years in a private school. I lived in Italy for a while and I just love the language. If anyone needs a tutor, I can help!
I also teach art history, and art as far as drawing and painting. So if any parent wants for their child learn how to express themselves through painting or drawing, I can do that as well!!
I love to do all of these things, as I have a great passion for them! I hope I can inspire someone else.
Voice teacher and choir director.
I taught voice to the students and started a choir there. I also taught music history and theory
Deborah's expertise and professionalism are a pleasant surprise when you consider how young she is. I have met teachers that are decades older than her who do not have the ability to accurately tell you exactly what you are doing wrong or how you can correct it. You hear a lot of, "just keep practicing and it will sort itself out" from other instructors, and this could cause you to develop bad habits that could affect your voice. Deborah is the opposite of that.
She pinpoints exactly what I am doing wrong during my lesson and offers suggestions on how to correct it going forward. I appreciate that because if your instructor doesn't tell you, your audience will. And you might not like how they say it. I am there to go beyond just singing in the shower, and her constructive criticism only makes me better. She is also polite when she corrects you, she's not cracking the whip.
She focuses immediately on different techniques that will help you improve your voice so that you can PROGRESS, instead of just banging out scales on the piano lesson after lesson and overlooking mistakes a student may make like some instructors do. I hate to be this blunt, but there are some instructors I have met in the past who do just that (none of them are from takelessons) to me it shows a devotion to the art and a commitment to bringing out the best voice that you have she wants you to be as good as her! To me no one could ask for any more than that in a voice instructor. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a teacher.
Deborah is a wonderful teacher. She is patience, caring, understanding, knowledgeable, and motivating. I HIGHLY recommend Deborah as a vocal coach.
Just as she promise ;work on breathing first, usually I like some time go by before I make a comment but the first introduction went so well, I have a positive outlook of my future practice. I have my questions answer and I also understand them as well. I am sure I have more and have confidence they will be answer....+ Read More

Deborah is truly amazing! She makes you feel very comfortable and truly teaches the technique behind singing! Super excited to work with her oh and FYI her voice is EVERYTHING!!
Deborah is really personable and understanding. She made me feel really comfortable. It was almost like she was a friend teaching me how to sing. Deborah creates a relaxing and chill environment in order to share her knowledge and talent.
we are making progress
Deborah is instilling confidence and providing exercises, as first step to teaching my 13 year old. Thrilled with my daughter's glad face after the lessons.
she is very nice and my first lesson went very well.
My daughter had her first signing lesson with Deborah Fri night and I think it went very well. I love her patience in dealing with children and the fact that she encourages her the entire time. We look forward to her next four lessons!
Ms. Deborah is the best!! I've only had three lessons so far but within that short time I've learned so much. This is my first time taking lessons and I was very nervous in the beginning but Ms. Deborah's warm and friendly personality combined with her positive outlook put me at ease. She is helping me build my confidence and teaching me how to improve my vocal range. Even when I feel like I can't do it she pushes me and I achieve what I thought I couldn't do. I'm happy that I found Ms. Deborah.+ Read More

She is explains exercises well and gives you an arc of where you are headed so you can see your end goals and how you are working towards them little by little. I have had 5 lessons with Deborah so far and I intend to continue for many years. She is hands down one of the best teachers I have ever had.
She not only makes you feel comfortable and confident with your voice, but she knows how to challenge you to bring out notes and tones that you never knew you could sing. Whether you are a novice or more experienced, she really knows how to tailor the lessons to your goals and expertise.
The location of the lesson is great as well. There is a piano there and ample space to stand and sing. If I could give her 10 stars, I would.
I have had three lessons with Deborah so far and in this short amount of time I already feel like I'm learning so much. What I love about her is that she really caters the lesson to you. If I'm not grasping something, she'll change her approach so that I can understand. She can be nit picky, but I think it's a plus because it means she won't sit there listening to you do something wrong. She'll stop you and correct you so that you don't fall into bad habits and potentially end up damaging your vocal cords.
She's very encouraging and will point out what you're doing well along with what you need to work on. At the end of each session she asks you to tell her what you like about the lesson/what she can improve on to help you for the next lesson. You can tell she cares about her students. On my first lesson, she said I'm welcome to send her recordings or text her with questions to avoid practicing anything incorrectly in between sessions. I'm looking forward to my fourth lesson coming up this week and would highly recommend her to other students.
Deborah is honestly one of the best vocal teachers I have had. She is extremely patient, willing to help you understand the material and she is professional and kind. I would highly recommend her to all of my friends and family.
Fantastic. She is extremely friendly and supportive. I am looking forward to working with her much more in the future.
