Drums with David M.

My name is David and I have been performing now for over 10 years. I began my career as a drum set student and continued learning from multiple teachers throughout my high school, college, and independent career. I have been fortunate enough to be able to play shows throughout the country, and have been involved in many different ensembles. After graduating and receiving the Louis Armstrong National Jazz award, I was offered a spot performing with the Boston University marching band, where I received the 2014 BU Rookie of the Year award. Recently I have been performing with the Spirit Winter Percussion ensemble, and in 2015 won the gold medal at the WGI Percussion World Championships. Along with performing I have also taught many private students and multiple nationally ranked groups including the Joseph Case High School marching band and indoor percussion ensemble, and now the Somerset-Berkley High School marching band, and indoor percussion ensembles.
