Danielle K. is an aspiring performer and Music Educator. She holds degrees in both Music Education and Performance from Gordon College Masters of Oboe Performance from Boston University.
She began her career as an oboist with the Warwick Symphony Orchestra in 2011 and a year later became a member of the Ocean State Summer Pops Orchestra, where she now sits Principal. This Pops Orchestra occasionally features Ms. K. in small works such as “Gabriels Oboe” and larger scale concerti.
Since at Boston University she played with the Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra, Danielle has played with various ensembles including the Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra. She continues to play with these ensembles as well as Brandeis University, and Wellesley College Orchestra where she serves as a mentor to the wind students. As a freelance artist in the Boston area she has performed with, The Irish Tenors, Outer Cape Chorale, The Northshore Philharmonic, American Band, The New England Intercollegiate Band, MIT Summer Philharmonic as well as various local theater productions playing Oboe as well as other reed instruments.
Certified in Massachusetts as a music educator Danielle is trained in teaching all woodwind instruments. She has taught flute saxophone and general up to the high school level, the oboe she has experience through the undergraduate level.
Learning an instrument should be fun and you don't have to do it on your own. Online lessons are encouraged.
