As a former public schools teacher, I taught elementary general music to 600+ Students in both English and Spanish as a part of the Dual Language Immersion Program in English and Spanish. I have designed curriculum and instruction in both English and Spanish, speak fluent Spanish and can even communicate well in Portuguese. I have been an active player in the greater Seattle area and have: Been the featured performer with the Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra (SRJO); Recorded with SRJO, Spike and the Impalers, Savoy Swing Band, Thuy Trang, Banda Vagos; Toured with the Temptations, Harry James Orchestra, Tommy Dorsey Orchestra; Performed with the Seattle Symphony, Clint Holmes, Cab Calloway Orchestra, Shameless Hussy, Type A, Brian Bromberg, Alice Stewart, and Jay Thomas and the Usual Suspects among many others.
