Yoga with Daniel T.

I began studying yoga while trying to decide which gym class to take to fulfill a requirement in college. Looking for some relief from back pain, and other sports related injuries from many years of training I figured I would give it a try. Shortly after, I happened to find a friend’s copy of B.K.S. Iyengar’s Light on Yoga and after reading it from cover to cover I was inspired to begin practicing daily, using the book as a guide. After moving to New York City in '07 and starting my study at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of NY, I became more and more interested in imparting yoga’s lessons to others, and helping those in need to discover and benefit from its practice. I graduated from the 2 year Teacher Training Program at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of NY in '11, and am Certified at the Introductory II Level by the Iyengar Yoga National Association of the US. I have also traveled twice to India to study with the Iyengar Family.
