I believe music lessons should be a blast or they shouldn't be at all. I love teaching kids of all ages (adults too!) and jamming out to their favorite songs. Of course there's so much to learn, but there's a way of pacing out the material so they can have fun while learning the theory and technique.
My teaching methods include all the basic elements (technique, theory, ear training, performance, etc.) but my approach is more based on the needs of each student.
* Lesson Details *
I meet each student in the way they need to be met: if they need a serious approach, I meet them with the same intensity (and raise them a few!). Most students seem to prefer a laid back, more "fun" approach, which I am excellent at providing as well.

We can make arrangements if the student doesn't own the instrument

Danny's enthusiasm for his music and his work is contagious! He knows his stuff, that's for sure. But what's really great about Danny is his personality. He is so calm, and very kind and respectful, no matter what your level of skill or knowledge. And he has a terrific sense of humor. You will definitely have fun while learning from Danny!+ Read More
Danny is probably the sweetest most patient teacher i've ever had the pleasure of learning from. Whenever I felt flustered Danny would calm me and go over the lesson from top to bottom until I was comfortable. He is an excellent source of musical inspiration as well. 10/10 Would take lessons from in the future+ Read More
Danny knows what he is doing and even more knows how to teach it! He connects to the music in a very personal way, but can still relate to you even if you don't "get it yet." Meaning, even outside of the classroom, he has all the elements you would want. He listens, thinks, and tried to focus on exactly what you need and how he can provide it to you. I strongly encourage you to contact him!+ Read More
Dan is such a great guy and he has helped me transform my horrible banging into respectable drumming. He's funny and a patient teacher - highly recommended!
Danny is a very skillful and gifted musician who is also a wonderful teacher. My son has been taking drum lessons with him and has already learned so much in a short period of time. We are lucky to have found Danny.
Thank you Daniel!! We had a great session. I learned so much and am really excited about learning from someone who has such an extensive knowledge of all types of music.
I really appreciate the laid back style of the lesson and how Daniel was still fully engaged. He was able to give me some great feedback on what to practice and why. I will definitely be continuing our lessons and would happily recommend him to friends.
DANNY IS AN ABSOLUTE GEM! I've been receiving lessons from him for a few months now and I've come quite a long way from our very first encounter. In the first few sessions I learned theory/fundamentals of drumming and i've worked my way up to intermediate level skills. I've grown so much with Danny and i'm excited to see how much progress i'll make over the next year. GO TO HIM! HE'S THE BEST!!!+ Read More
Danny is the best music teacher I ever had. He was kind, passionate, and patient. And I'm not the quickest learner when it comes to music. But he customized the lesson to my needs. He was so good I referred him to my brother for drums. Now, the family is getting closer to a band.
If you are looking for lessons, Danny has years if experience and is clear in how he explains theory and techniques. Highly recommended!
Daniel is not only an amazing teacher but also an amazing human being as a whole. He's a very inspiring character that gives a lot of technique and knowledge to the untrained eye and ear about the African arts. He gives you the information needed that will get you to the next level of the craft and puts it in terms that makes something so complicated seem easy and fun.
A solid being vibrating on higher levels.
Daniel is not only an expert guitar player but an excellent teacher as well. His non-judgmental and inviting teaching style made me feel comfortable enough to learn, as I had never played guitar before, and was nervous to start. I would recommend him to anyone, at any level!+ Read More
Not only was I surprised at the skill level and experience Danny had as an instrumentalist and engineer, he was also able to impart his knowledge in an accessible way that I could understand and actually learn! I loved going through the recording process with danny and coming out with a great result!+ Read More
Danny's guitar knowledge is unparalleled. He is truly a master musician, but in an unlikely pairing, also has the patience of a saint. I've played guitar a long time, but didn't know how best to teach my son, Dublin, though I knew I wanted him to learn. I brought Dublin to Danny, and my son immediately felt at ease with Danny's relaxed and warm personality. I was so surprised at how quickly Dublin started to improve! He will be much better than me one day, thanks to Danny! I am sure Danny can improve musicians of all ages in whatever field they chose to utilize his distinctive knowledge and experience in. If I find the time, I will definitely look to take some lessons with Danny in music production. I've gotten a chance to see him work with his artists and they are doing some amazing things! Thanks Danny for making me look like the best dad ever. :)+ Read More
Danny is patient and understanding when it comes to teaching. He brings a positive energy to each lesson and I couldn't be happier with how much he has helped me grow as a guitar player. His studio space is also amazing and I wish I knew how to use 1/4th of the equipment in there. What a better place to learn an instrument!+ Read More
As Danny's former business partner, I have learned so much from him as a producer, instrumentalist, and friend. With his range and versatility of musical knowledge and experience, he truly inspires me and other musicians to push themselves further in their art, no matter what that is. He's also great with kids! I would highly recommend him to anyone.+ Read More
