I offer personalized lessons that will offer the proper amount of challenge based on the level of my students. I have been a musician for more than 12 years and I have spent time finding the most effective ways to teach music regardless of age or skill level. I truly believe in the value of music, and I have successfully been teaching in an NYC Public School as a multi-subject teacher for several years. I offer music lessons when I am not in the classroom in an attempt to help others expand their musical capabilities and knowledge of relevant musical concepts. My method of teaching involves identifying areas with room for growth for my students, and then coming up with one or a few goals to strive for. I believe that the most effective way to improve as a musician is by gradually training and practicing the way we think about and compose music. I offer beginner and intermediate lessons for all skill levels and ages. I have experience with teaching music through a variety of approaches and I am happy to focus on teaching either one or multiple different instruments. One of my specialties is teaching beatboxing either on it's own or in addition to other instruments.
