    About Daniel S.

    Daniel J Smith, baritone, is a recent graduate of George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia with a Masters of Music in Vocal Performance. He also has a Bachelor of Science in Music Business from Winston-Salem State University. This past summer, Smith performed the role of Count Almaviva in Mozart’s THE MIRAGE OF FIGARO with the Amalfi Coast International Music Festival in Amalfi Coast, Italy. Smith has had the privilege of performing with this festival years performing such roles as Papageno (The Magic Flute) in 2015 and in 2014 Betto (Gianni Schicci). Daniel has also performed the roles L’horloge comtoise (L’enfant et les sortilèges), Marcello (La Bohème), Pirate King (The Pirates of Penzance), and Antonio (The Marriage of Figaro), with Mason Opera. Daniel has been a first-place winner in the National Association of Teachers of Singing, George Mason Concerto Competition, and many other competitions. He also sung for the World Federation of Friends of Museums.
