Violin is the air I breathe and I love teaching it! While I make most of my money performing and improvising on the violin, I have classical training and I take the pedagogy of music and specifically the violin as a very serious responsibility because of how it has shaped my life both in health and in injury. Don't worry, we still have a lot of fun in lessons :) I tailor my approach to the needs of each individual student I have. (I recently found out I'm good at teaching online so I'm taking this site more seriously now) Unless you are an advanced player looking to improvise, we will likely begin my devising some exercises to work on posture and technical foundation based on your needs. If you are a complete beginner or are seeking lessons for your child, then we will start at the beginning :) Young students taking online lessons must have a parent in the room to take practice notes (I will help you with what to write) and that parent or their partner must be willing to help guide the practice session daily between lessons.
