- Teaching since:
I have been teaching for over a decade, from young and adult beginners, to undergraduate conservatory students and occasionally "lending and ear" to other professionals when they have a concert or audition coming up. My musical experience has lead me to different cities in North, South America, and Europe; as an orchestral, chamber music, soloist, and educator. Each concert, like each student I've worked with has taught me something valuable in return.
Teaching Philosophy: To teach is to instruct with care and to nurture. I believe that each pupil is an aspiring
artist and must be nurtured as such. They must be taught not only how to be a proficient musician, but how to live as an artist. This is my mission and my promise to each and every pupil I work with. I believe that each aspiring artist is unique and must be instructed in a personalized, disciplined, and inspiring way. As a performer, I wish to pass on my experience and help each pupil find their own unique “voice” as we walk down the path to becoming the best artist they can be.
by being methodological, I find a way that is suitable and customizable for each individual student to best learn at their pace. Everyone is different and brings something unique to the table, therefore there can be no "one way" of playing the instrument.
