Hello there! My name is Dan and I've been singing professionally for just over ten years. I have a Bachelor of Music/Vocal Performance from the Chapman Conservatory of Music as well as a Master of Music/Vocal Performance/Operatic Studies from The Juilliard School. Although my schedule is often sporadic I've been able to teach privately off and on, in between gigs, over the past few years. I've performed both operatically and theatrically throughout the country and coach a variety of styles. Many students I've worked with in the past bring in theatrical or even pop music as I encourage bringing in what you feel most comfortable singing. My overall points in teaching are confidence, a healthy approach, and of course having fun- that is, after all, at the very heart of it.
For more information about me please refer to my Linkedin profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/daniel-t-curran-809591ab. My website is www.danieltcurran.com.
I have been teaching off and on as my schedule allows. Classical/Opera/Art song rep through musical theater and popular genres. Teaching healthy approaches to the music you love.

I started taking lessons from Daniel in May of my Freshman year of high school. I had taken voice before, so my voice was weak, breathy, and quiet. I studied with him through the summer until he went back to Juilliard. Under his tutelage, I gained confidence and power as a beginning singer. I highly recommend Daniel to any level of singer.+ Read More
I got a late start with singing, I took lessons with Daniel when I had only been singing for less than a year. With his help I made it to the top five at the state vocal competition at the high school level my first year competing. I don't sing competitively anymore, but every time I sing for a Christmas party or just in the shower I recall things he taught me to improve my singing voice. I consider him both a great teacher and a great friend. If you're looking for a great place to improve your singing, go see Daniel Curran.+ Read More
