I've been playing drums for 10 years and received my Associate Performance Degree at the Los Angeles College of Music in 2017. The school I attended taught us variety of styles, all of which I'm still playing which include Rock, R&B, Funk, Jazz, Latin to name a few. We also worked heavily on technique which is of great importance. My favorite thing to do is play with songwriters, in which the approach is not over playing, playing 'to' the song, which I believe is one of the most important skills to learn as a musician. Since graduating I've been playing shows around LA with many different artists as well as recording with those artists and others in session work around the LA area. I've also had the chance to tour across Canada and up the West Coast. I have experience working with kids and teens and can cater to a variety of learning styles. Where ever you're starting from, I can help you take those next steps. Whatever you want to work on, I can creatively and efficiently help you work towards your goals. I also play guitar and write songs so if any of those topics interest you I can get you started with that as well !
