We've got to be able to communicate musically as step one. Furthermore you will need a basic understanding of the guitar. I will explain both of these essential steps in an easy to understand fashion the works best for you. Next we will apply what we have learned to learning a simple song you like. Where we go from there depends how your personal goals and how much time you have to practice.

I started out teaching friends how to play guitar in my early teens. I had advanced knowledge that helped me to be a better player than anyone I knew, and sharing my knowledge was always fun and a win win situation. The more my friends knew, the more we could have fun jamming together and learn new songs that we loved.
