I have been singing my entire life, starting as a boy soprano in my hometown Methodist church. I began playing piano at age six. From that time on, it was a journey of musical adventure, singing, playing piano and collaborating on productions.
I went on to get my Bachelor's Degree in vocal performance at UNC-G, where I performed lead roles in countless operas and musicals, as well as recitals, oratorios, and various church concerts. My next venture took me to NYC where I received my Master's Degree in opera at The Juilliard School. While living in the city for twenty+ years, I performed in every genre of music, even choral music, sharing the stage with Luciano Pavarotti, Marilyn Horne and Madeleine Kahn, to name a few. I was also in off-Broadway shows, while also working as an actor and model in commercials, print and runway work.
I relocated to Miami in 2001 where I became choir conductor at Unity on the Bay in 2013. I am now the Director of the Music Ministry in the same location.
Director of all aspects of the music ministry;
hiring of guest artists, selection of music, choir
and band preparation as well as conducting and
overseeing program on Sunday mornings.
Knows what he's doing and very friendly. Looking forward to the next few weeks.
I have been singing under Dale's guidance for two years and my voice has improved quite well. You will learn breathing techniques and how to control your sound. He's a fun and talented coach and blessed with ample patience.
I love working with Dale. I met Dale at Unity on the Bay and he since has become our choir director and vocal teacher. He has the most beautiful voice I have ever heard and has the knowledge and patience I look for in a teacher. I highly recommend him as he has helped me tremendously.+ Read More
