Band lessons for ELEMENTARY students currently in, or going in, to a school band program. Maybe you just want to improve. I have 30 years of experience teaching band at the HS and Elementary levels. I’m looking to teach Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, Percussion. I learned quickly how to do this online during the pandemic. Lessons will be virtual. The last ten years of my career as a NYS Certified Band Teacher on Long Island has given me experience at both ends of a students’ musical career through school. As I’m currently still teaching elementary band, I’m acutely aware of the importance of a strong foundation. Most students that get discouraged, give up after a few months if not encouraged to keep trying. The first step is pinpointing the problem that needs to be addressed in order to turn things around.
