Develop your love for the piano alongside a patient teacher (who is also great at working with children!)

I have been teaching private piano, violin, guitar, and ukulele lessons for twelve years. I won competitions, hundreds of dollars, and a scholarship through the Desert Valley Music Teacher Association (DVMTA). I have written and self-published two piano books with more in the works. I have worked on a Music Theory degree at MCC and plan to transfer to ASU to finish my bachelor's. I help students find the fun in music again with many involved music games and incentive programs. I instill a love and confidence in students of composing their own music from a young age.

    About Courtney W.

I've been teaching piano and violin for over ten years now and now guitar and ukulele for six. I play the organ in church every week and have helped many people spread their love with music. I have not finished my bachelors in Music Theory and Composition due to medical reasons, but I plan to go back one day. I've published books of music pieces I've written and my students have won awards in music writing. I've taught students from all walks of life, ranging from small children to retired adults and children with autism to anxiety disorders. My motto is anyone can do music because talent is achieved only through practicing. We all start in the same place: with no experience. I help restore love of music in children and teenagers through fun music games and activities.
