I am a home school graduate with three years of piano teaching experience and many years of experience caring for young children. I have played the piano for 13 years. I used to beg my mom to let me quit piano lessons, but I am so thankful that she forced me to persevere. So when my students are discouraged on their journey, I will understand, but I will not be bashful about pushing you on to succeed! Music has two main purposes: 1) self-fulfillment, and 2) praising God. If we work together we will realize both of those goals. Not every student will become a concert pianist, and that isn't our goal, anyway. Slow learners or someone who just wants to have fun and learn a bit of music are just as welcome in my program! I want you to enjoy your lessons, and that means we will study both what you need to learn and what you want to learn. I love having fun with my students and adjusting my strategies to fit their needs. I look forward to meeting you!
