I graduated with a degree in Biology and two minors in Chemistry and Music Technology. I have been playing guitar for 15 years and I was lucky enough to work in a music store through college. I learned instrument repair, sales, and music theory through my job and my minor. I also took lessons in middle school and into high school. After school, I taught special needs children music.

Extremely helpful during lessons. Designs the lessons to use song in my areas of interest. Lesson critiques are always done in a positive manner. Right now mostly in the area of finger placement. This does make the music easier to play. Her husband Chris also teaches.

Courtney and Chris are amazing. They really make sure that you know what your doing by the time you leave your lesson, and they are both so much fun. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone at any level of experience.

Had my first lesson with Courtney and she was very enthusiastic about teaching! She was patient, thorough, and well organized with her instructions and provided a good foundation to build upon. I'm looking forward to future lessons as she has motivated me to enjoy the therapeutic sounds of the guitar. I'll also likely take piano lessons following the guitar. I would highly recommend Courtney!

I have been playing guitar for about 14 years and I was lucky enough to work in a music store through college. I got the job by playing my ukulele and writing a 'hire me' song for them. I learned instrument repair, sales, and music theory through my job and my minor. I also took lessons in middle school and into high school. After school, I taught emotional behavior children music at a government funded help home. I put on Christmas Recitals every December For the children.
